Audrey Katana

We have a sink on the back of our potty and when the potty flushes the water goes.

And now I’m going to type about our room.

We have a thing that makes mosquitoes go away hanging from the light.  It has a smell that mosquitoes don’t like. And we have one outside and inside.

In our back yard we have a shrine. (mom edit- We don’t really, it’s a statue.) On the top of the shrine is blue. I really hope that you like my blog.

Kiddyland is a store. At Kiddyland there is lots and lots of toys. On every floor there are different toys. On one floor there is lots and lots of Hello Kitty things. On one other floor there is Lego toys.

There is a Tamagachi store. There is little Tamagachi toys that are little Tamagachis that are cute.

Both of those places are in Harajuku. I like Harajuku. There are lots and lots of fun places there. There is a crazy street that I like. All of the stores are cute and silly.

We live at Meguro. At Meguro there is shrines and churches and a train station.

At Shibuya there is lots and lots of watch places and lots and lots of watches. There is a Disney store.

There is a Burger King in Ebisu and its hamburgers are yummy.

We went to Disneyland and there was Jumping Jellyfish. I went on the Jumping Jellyfish with Daddy and we went on an orange and a pink jellyfish and there was hot air balloon fishies. It was faster than I thought it would be and I liked it.  I went to Donald’s house and Minnie’s house and Chip and Dale’s tree house. We went on It’s A Small World. We went to a pizza place and we went on Autotopia. I liked Autotopia and Daddy went with me.  We got a little fast pass for Nightmare Before Christmas and I liked the mirrors.

Driving past the mall where she met Santa at Christmas:

Audrey: “Momma! We have a picture of Zoe and me and Santa!”

Me: “We do! Did you meet him?”

A: “Yes! And his tummy too!”

And just now at the table:

A: “Knock knock”

Z: “Who’s there?”

A: “Chicken.”

Z: “Chicken who?”

A:” Baaak baaaak baaak!”

After I handed her some fruit snacks:

A:”There you go, Mama. That’s ok, Mama. You’re welcome Mama.”
Me: “Do you mean, ‘Thank you, Mama?”
A: “Yes!”

Singing, to the tune of You Are My Sunshine:
“I am a princess, your only princess. I make you happy, when skies are gray.”

Audrey is a complicated young lady.  One day, sweet and innocent:

the next day…

…you don’t spit into the wind.

You don’t pull the mask off the ole Lone Ranger,

and you don’t mess around with Audrey

Here’s Tiny with Ming Ming (who she borrowed from her cousin). And yes, her word for “I love you” is to make a kissing noise.

Behold the beauty that is Miss Audrey Katana on her 1st birthday. (And before anyone asks, yes, she did wear 3 different outfits today.)

Happy birthday, tiny one. You are so loved.

Audrey had her 1st birthday party today, even though her birthday is next week,  lucky girl. She had a great time. There were presents and food, and most importantly, cake.

The party was duck themed, as chosen by Zoe, on Audrey's behalf.

There was a big cake for everyone.

Audrey tried to get in on that action...

but she had her own cake.

May I present the love story between a girl and her cake.

"Hey look! A duck!"

"Gotcha, little ducky!"

"Hey, what's this?"

"Hey, can you hold this for me?"

"Hey, wait a minute, that's MY duck!"

"CAKE! AND A DUCK! AND CAKE!"

"YAY CAKE!"

"Oh goodness, so much cake!"

"I approve of this entire experience."

Now that’s the way to celebrate a birthday. Happy early birthday, tiny one.
