Driving past the mall where she met Santa at Christmas:

Audrey: “Momma! We have a picture of Zoe and me and Santa!”

Me: “We do! Did you meet him?”

A: “Yes! And his tummy too!”

And just now at the table:

A: “Knock knock”

Z: “Who’s there?”

A: “Chicken.”

Z: “Chicken who?”

A:” Baaak baaaak baaak!”

After I handed her some fruit snacks:

A:”There you go, Mama. That’s ok, Mama. You’re welcome Mama.”
Me: “Do you mean, ‘Thank you, Mama?”
A: “Yes!”
