The faces of Audrey Katana

Wednesday, March 24th, 2010

Audrey is a complicated young lady.  One day, sweet and innocent:

the next day…

It has begun…

Thursday, June 4th, 2009

Just like her older sister, Audrey was motivated to crawl by the remote control.  I guess there’s something about a glowing stick with buttons that hits something primal in us all.

Audrey is 8 months

Thursday, April 2nd, 2009

Audrey just turned 8 months and is a little darling.  She has 2 teeth (on the bottom) and 2 more threatening to come in on top. She rolls over onto her belly really well – she can roll onto her back but doesn’t prefer it.  She grabs at everything,  and passes things really well from hand to hand.  She can sit up decently well by herself, unless she leans to one side or the other, then she’s done.  She isn’t sleeping through the night but will be soon (BWAAAAHAAAHAAA!!) – we’re starting sleep training tonight.   (Pray for us.)  She “talks” a lot, babbling and shouting most of the day.  Here’s some pictures of her looking cute.

Looking a little perturbed (she wasn't actually, she just looked that way.)

Foolish mortals, I obey no schedules!

Just after we had a nice time slot available for Audrey’s induction, she decides to ignore it.  It’s 3:45 AM (I didn’t know there WAS a 3:45 AM) and we are waiting for someone to arrive to watch over Zoë while we make our mad dash to the hospital.

Auntie Christy broke the code of silence

Monday, July 21st, 2008

Audrey’s Auntie Christy just let me in on one of those secrets that I always knew existed but I never had proof…until now!

me: why are girls so slow?
Christy: we train from birth, she’s fixing her hair
me: apparently from pre-birth
Christy: exactly!  she’s waiting for another ultrasound so she can tell if she got the part right
